FRANKIE GALASSO CONTRIBUTES TO JEWISH MUSEUM ART EXHIBIT
 
A TRIBUTE TO KEVIN YOUKILIS, by noted New England sports cartoonist Frankie Galasso, is the latest artist contribution to an upcoming museum art exhibit about the history of Jews in baseball.

Commissioned by Howard K. Goldstein, a retired trial lawyer and long-time collector/historian concerning Jewish involvement in baseball, Galasso's piece amusingly reviews the highlights of the career of retired Boston Red Sox star Kevin Youkilis. Mr. Goldstein is in the final stages of assembling the exhibit, provisionally titled Baseball Jews, an Artful History, which will be shown at various Jewish museums nationwide beginning in 2025.

Further exhibit details about locations and dates will be released shortly.

The art exhibit will chronicle the involvement of Jews in baseball, from 1871 to the present, by both ballplayers and others. In addition to Mr. Galasso's work, the exhibit will feature artwork from many famous sports cartoonists/illustrators such as Willard Mullin, Bruce Stark, Bill Gallo, Ronnie Joyner and Martin French, as well as from iconic sports artists including Dick Perez, Graig Kreindler, James Fiorentino, Arthur K. Miller and Cortney Wall.
